Miss Angola, Leila Lopes is the first to be crowned Miss Universe from her country and is the fourth African who seized the Miss Universe crown.
According to an Argentina Infobae newspaper. Miss Angola currently faces an allegation of falsification of documents leading to the possible disqualification. The said document entails information about the beauty queen lived in United Kingdom and studied business management. But the fact is, Lopes actually did not left Angola.
A person named Charles Mukano is the one accused for helping Lopes fake her documents to join the beauty contest of Angolan community in England.
Furthermore, Infobae also mentioned that Mukano allegedly paid the pageant judges to guarantee Lopes’ victory.
